Obituary for Anaclet Arsenault

Anaclet (Pete) Arsenault- January 1, 1930

Pete passed on November 28, 2023, peacefully at Lisaard House with loved ones by his side.

Pete was born in Caplan Quebec on the Gaspe Peninsula and moved to Windsor as a young gentleman where he met his loving wife of 71 years Margaret (nee Parent) he is survived by his 5 sons. Dan (Marilyn), Rick (Wendy), Pat (Sam), Paul (Kaew), Dave (Lisa). Predeceased by his baby daughter Elizabeth. Loving Grandfather of Justin (Kelly), Keith, Jenna, Zack, Garrett, Steve (Michel), Kim, Alex (Kimberly), Jamie-Lynn (Jordan), and Devon. Loving Great-Grandfather of Ryan, Emma, Sara, Dani, Ella, and Lincoln. Survived by his siblings, Therese, Lise, and Marius. Predeceased by, Adeline, Marie-Ann, Carmel, Donat, Sylvain and Bert, Anaclet Sr. and Jean-Paul.

Pete was an avid outdoorsman, who loved fishing and hunting. He had a great love of music and enjoyed many music festivals. Pete also enjoyed playing his guitar and keyboard. He and Marg spent many years up at Rice Lake at their trailer, where they met many lifelong friends. He was known around the trailer park as ‘Mr. Congeniality’. Pete was well known for his devilish sense of humour and loved a good prank, especially if he was the one pranking.
Moved to Cambridge in 1967, to open and manage Kromet Handles, where he worked as a Forman till he retired in 1990.
