Obituary for Marilyn Doreen Sharp (Dickhout)

Sharp, Marilyn Doreen (Dickhout) passed peacefully surrounded by her family at Cambridge Country Manor, on Wednesday February 21, 2024. A longtime resident of Cambridge (Galt) in her 94th year.
Beloved wife to the late Thomas (1998) for 44 years; loving mother to Ken (Cathy), Dennis, and Dorothy Willichuk (Marty) cherished grandma to Dana Watanabe, Whitney Kado (Keisuke), Rachel and Aaron Willichuk. Great Grandsons Thomas Watanabe,Zackary Kado. Survived by her dear brother Lyle Dickhout. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Ernest and Catherine, her siblings, Sylvia McComb (Jack), and Murray, in-laws Andy (Doris), Don (Mary), Helen (Stan) Fedorwick and Stuart (Evelyn). Marilyn and her husband Thomas co-founders of Toshmar Bus Lines in Cambridge.She enjoyed travelling, family gatherings, curling, theatre and dancing. Marilyn was a life time member of the Laura Rose Women’s Institute, a 4-H Leader, volunteer driver for P.A.T.E.R. (VON) for over 20 years, member of the Scouting Auxiliary and a C.G.I.T. Leader.

Family and friends may be received at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas St, N. Cambridge on Monday February 26, 2024 from 6-9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held in the Funeral Home chapel on Tuesday February 27, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Glen Morris Cemetery. Donations to Glen Morris Cemetery, Alzheimer’s society, or Westside Presbyterian Church would be appreciated. Donations may be arranged through Corbett Funeral Home.
