Obituary for Mildred Anne Marshall (Hastie)

MARSHALL/McCOMB, Mildred Anne-(Hastie)-Passed away peacefully on Thursday December 28th at The Bridge Hospice, Warkworth ON at the age of 88. She was predeceased by her husband Glen McComb, Stan Marshall, her parents Andrew and Charlotte Hastie and her brother Joe Hastie. She is survived by her sister Eleanor Triemstra, children Les, Charlotte (Dave), grandchildren Steven (Yvä), Jayson (Laura), step grandchildren Kyla(Dan), Andrew (Lis), Seamus (Kitty), and great grandchildren Leah, Jona and Roman and many nieces and nephews. Millie held many volunteer positions within her churches including Sunday school teacher, UCW President and took great pleasure singing in the choirs. Millie was a curler, cross country, downhill and water skier as well as enjoyed snowmobiling. She had many interests, was a talented seamstress and gardener. Millie worked hard her whole life, effortlessly balancing work, home and bookkeeping for the family business. Millie will be fondly remembered as the family photographer and leaves us with many wonderful memories. Her faith and music were her constant companions. She was the warm light in our lives. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas St., Cambridge, where family and friends will be received on Friday January 5, 2024, from 2-4 & 7-9p.m. Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday January 6, 2024, at 11a.m. For those who wish, please join the livestream.

Interment will follow at Glen Morris Cemetery, with a memorial reception to follow at Glen Morris United Church. Donations can be made in memory to First Baptist Church Woodstock, ON, The Bridge Hospice Warkworth ON, or Campbellford Memorial Hospital Campbellford ON
